Method: tropical zodiac, geocentric apparent ecliptic longitude (light-time and aberration corrected), whole-sign houses — House 1 is the entire sign containing the Ascendant, not a 30° slice starting at its exact degree. Ascendant and Midheaven derived from Greenwich Apparent Sidereal Time via Astronomy Engine's SiderealTime(), verified against its own Horizon() transform so the Ascendant is confirmed to sit exactly on the horizon and rising, not setting. Retrograde is a same-direction check across a 24-hour step, not a stationary-point search. Moon phase is the Sun–Moon angle at birth (cross-checked against Astronomy Engine's own MoonPhase() and Illumination()), split into the 8 named phases. Numerology uses the standard Pythagorean letter chart (A–I = 1–9, repeating; Y always counts as a consonant here — some schools treat it as a vowel when it sounds like one, a real point of disagreement between practitioners). Life path sums every digit of the birth date; Personal year swaps in the current year; Expression uses every letter of the full birth name, Soul Urge only vowels, Personality only consonants; Maturity adds Life Path and Expression. Master numbers 11/22/33 are kept unreduced throughout. Birthday number is the raw day of birth, not reduced. Chinese zodiac year starts on Chinese New Year, not January 1st — found as the 2nd new moon after the December solstice (in China Standard Time), a rule cross-checked against 7 independently published dates spanning 1930–2026 with an exact match every time; births before that year's Chinese New Year get the previous year's animal. Lunar nodes, Chiron, and Placidus houses aren't in this prototype yet.

Method: every pair of the 10 bodies compared between both charts (100 pairs), checked against 5 major aspects — conjunction 0°, sextile 60°, square 90°, trine 120°, opposition 180° — with standard orbs (8° for conjunction/opposition, 6° for square/trine, 4° for sextile). Sorted tightest-orb-first. This is raw geometry, not a compatibility score or percentage — no synthesis text yet.
Method: MC/IC lines are constant-longitude meridians where the body's right ascension equals local sidereal time. ASC/DESC lines solve the standard rise/set hour-angle equation cos H = -tan(lat)·tan(dec) at each latitude, then convert to longitude. Every line verified point-by-point against Astronomy Engine's own Horizon() transform — altitude ≈0° and correctly rising (ASC) or setting (DESC), not the reverse. Geocentric positions, no topocentric parallax correction (negligible for all bodies except the Moon at city-level precision).
Method: full 78-card deck (22 Major Arcana, 56 Minor Arcana). Card of the day is seeded from today's date, so everyone drawing today sees the same card until midnight — not re-randomized on every reload. Spreads draw without replacement. Upright/reversed is random per card, standard Rider-Waite-style meanings.

Method: today's geocentric positions (same engine, same validation as the natal chart) placed into your natal whole-sign houses — transits use your birth houses, not a recalculated "now" ascendant, which is the standard convention. Aspects compared against your natal placements using the same 5-aspect, standard-orb logic as Compatibility. Recomputes fresh on every visit — "today" means the moment you load or submit this page, not a cached forecast. Solar Return: found via SearchSunLongitude() for the exact instant the Sun returns to the natal longitude (verified to match to within 0.0001°), showing whichever return — this year's or last year's — is currently active. Calculated for birth coordinates, not current location, which is a real simplification: most professional software defaults to wherever you're living when the return happens.

Method: stations found by sampling Mercury's geocentric ecliptic longitude and locating where its rate of change crosses zero, refined via Astronomy Engine's own root-finding Search(). Cross-checked against four independently published 2026 station times (a professional astrology site's own published minutes) — matched to within 1–2 minutes on every one. Shows the two most recent stations and the next three going forward from today.

Method: 13-body activation — Sun, Earth (exactly opposite the Sun), Moon, North/South Node, Mercury through Pluto — computed twice: at birth (Personality) and at the moment the Sun was exactly 88° of ecliptic longitude earlier (Design), located via SearchSunLongitude(). The 64-gate wheel (5.625° per gate, King Wen-derived Rave Mandala order) and its zodiacal starting point were cross-checked against two independent published gate-degree tables with exact agreement. Lunar nodes use the mean node (Meeus polynomial formula), validated against its known ~18.7-year regression rate and against three independent ephemeris sources for the sample chart's date. Centers, the 36 channels, and Type/Authority logic follow the standard published rules; Authority uses the common simplified hierarchy (Emotional → Sacral → Splenic → Ego → Self-Projected → Environmental → Lunar), not every school's more elaborate variant. Definition splits (single/split/triple-split) and the Incarnation Cross aren't in this prototype yet.

Method: Jupiter returns (~every 11.86 years) and Saturn returns (~every 29.46 years) found the same way as Solar Return — searching for the exact moment each planet's geocentric longitude matches its natal degree, refined via Search(). Consecutive returns are searched sequentially from the previous one rather than from birth, so small period drift doesn't cause a later return to be missed. This year's house and year lord use annual profections, a Hellenistic technique: age 0 activates the 1st whole-sign house, advancing one house per year in a repeating 12-year cycle; the lord is the traditional ruler of that house's sign (Mars for Scorpio, Saturn for Aquarius, Jupiter for Pisces — not the modern outer-planet rulers), since the technique predates their discovery. Shown from birth to age 90. Profections, planetary periods, decennials, and zodiacal releasing beyond Jupiter/Saturn returns aren't in this prototype yet.
